Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

No, didn't get any eggs yet. I don't really want to hatch anything at the beginning of winter. Will wait till end of August, easier on me and the birds.
Brahmas are good looking birds!
I will wait and see what grows out of the new chicks (boys or girls) as I live on 500m2 block and can't really go mad with chickens - would like to though....
As it is I have a chicken coop with 4 hens, two large enclosures with quails, two cats, veggie garden, orchard, two little fishponds and two other water features, little plunge pool, fruit bushes..... can't fit much more on 500m2 :-(
Some other families from the daycare might take some off me if I end up with too many. Some want chickens, but don't want to raise babies. I am taking two for somebody else into my brooder, so will initially have 6.
I will post photos on the weekend, see if anybody can tell what they are!

. My poor girls first moult. I got her march last year at 14 weeks old so they didn't moult and now she is with a vengeance !

We had to carry them all back to bed :)
