Well Satay.....I lost one of my Runners yesterday in that storm and she hasn't returned or been found this morning

it really sucks!
I have searched everywhere but to no prevail, just can't figure how she could have disappeared.
 
Luke, I just got an email saying Pewpew was chosen for chicken of the week.

Edit: I just read the above post. Gosh I'm sorry. I hope she was just lost and makes her way back...

I got 2 hours sleep, spent the entire day run off my feet and finally got around to picking up my new Peahen just before dark.

After sitting with my newest baby for a while, I went around to close the turkey coop only to find only the two bronzes and no Pinky or Brain.

Pinky had tried to roost on a fence that was part of the dog paddock and I don't know if he fell in or was pulled in but... We own Dobermanns. My poor Turkey didn't stand a chance. Normally I would have heard or seen something, but I just this once I wasn't there.

Brain must have jumped in the try and save Pinky because he was still warm when I found him and his feather trail started where I found Pinky. He took on the Dobe like he took on anything that hurt his brother.

I loved my two first Turkeys and they will be dearly missed. They had character and they were lovely pets.
