Possibly sour crop.

If she is holding her beak open and looking up it may be gapeworm.

She is fine otherwise she is eating well and drinking well, no sign of anything in comb and poo is normal. She feels a healthy weight... If its a sour crop how can I help her??


Just in case how do you treat gapeworm ?? Normal worming and should I isolate her just in case it is???

Any fenbenzadole based wormer, - only a couple of drops - it's very effective.

Well Satay your dog problem has just gone, but mine has just started

!! There is a stray dog about, it does belong to someone but he is never home and this dog just runs about the local area. Yesterday I hear my hens going off and what do I see....this bloody dog "playing" with them, I ran down their with broom in hand.lol. Hopefully he won't come back. A perfectly nice dog but just don't want him getting to friendly with the flock.

That makes me think of gapeworm.
