The wellies are now in the brooder and doing much better. The last egg was not fertile. Not the best Picture but I have moved the brooder in to the office here so I can keep an eye on them.

All the wellies are up eatiung and drinking now so I am so pleased. Even little miracle the one the was doing the worst yesterday is eating now too.

Oh no Ash, I sorry you lost your your rooster. This weather (the sudden freezing nights with lots of rain) is bringing up any hidden health problems, I think.

And to satay, I'm very glad it worked! And you are very welcome, you can repay me with Looots of pictures

I'm in for 3 weeks of many hatches! I have two incubators (luckily) so I can pull it off.

I have due:
22nd June (this Saturday): 33 cross-bred eggs hatched because I could (and they seem to sell rather well)
25th June: 25 Quail eggs (fertility check)
3rd July: 7 Cross bred (My 12 year old cousin is staying with us for a week and she really wants to see some hatch)
6th July: 25 quail eggs (because they were getting too old to sell or send)
11th July: 19 Eggs from the Egg swap. Pinky got me some lovely RIR and Australorp eggs and Rabbit-84 send me some too.

I'm making another brooder (a third one) to keep up with this lot.

And I'm on puppy duty for the next litter so busy, busy me.

Busy times for you now mate. I have marans and wellie( a new line) eggs and something else coming in a week or so. I can repay will wellie eggs once they start laying again

it's ok mate. I think I would work out to dear for just one. Hey nothing stopping you from coming for a road trip but lol. except it's a bit cold up here at the moment . Sometimes it feels like I live in Canberra not qld in winter.Our top temp today so far is 12c. I am not a fan of winter.
