Treat the entire flock it wont matter. If you have to keep the two lots together just make sure you offer both foods. The older ones will probably eat some of the starter/grower but it wont hurt them.

Yes I agree to treat them all if you can't separate them, If your older girls do eat the crumble just check if it has coccidia medication in the food that you don't eat the eggs.... hang on, I probably wouldn't eat them while they are being treated anyway, you could always boil them or scramble them with no oil and feed their eggs back to them..
My hatch is going well, 9 chicks already...

We have now been permitted to test the chickens. An official statement is being prepared as we speak as we await the paperwork.

Hatch is going really well... Only 6 left pipping...

I think I had a pretty good hatch for posted eggs 17 Marans, 1 of my Dark olives and 2 of my cross breeds! Here's some baby pics!

Well done on your hatch Chook. As I suspected the wellie ,wyandotte Eggs were all clear on lock down. I have to keep my fingers crossed for the marans. A question though for people who get a lot of posted eggs. Normally clear eggs I just chuck out but with these all being clear I had to crack them open to see. I noticed they all looked like perfect eggs except not one had a bullseye. Do you think I should still be able to see a bullseye on day 18 even if they didn't develop? I have hatched my own eggs and many many posted ones. Some eggs have arrived with half the dozen smashed but I still have managed to get one or 2 to hatch, There were no detached air cells that I could see before incubation either.

I was getting almost 100% fertility at home and posted 2 dozen in between collecting for myself, the buyer got back to me saying that 9 out of the 24 were not fertile. Obviously I said I would replace them as they have been a fantastic customer over the years, but it made me question whether something happens to damage the blastoderm when eggs are posted. My next hatch was again up around 100% so I thought it very strange that there were that many infertile eggs in their order.
