Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

There is a great page here... http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2013/01/facts-and-myths-about-fertile-eggs.html But it doesn't quite answer the question. I was getting almost 100% fertility at home and posted 2 dozen in between collecting for myself, the buyer got back to me saying that 9 out of the 24 were not fertile. Obviously I said I would replace them as they have been a fantastic customer over the years, but it made me question whether something happens to damage the blastoderm when eggs are posted. My next hatch was again up around 100% so I thought it very strange that there were that many infertile eggs in their order.
You could always post yourself a batch to see how they are after?

i could but i send eggs all over Australia of my own and never had anyone say all were not viable. It is just my inquisitive mind wanting to know what happened.

I gave my girl some cat food (thanks to satay and others) I am now got 2 lovely brown eggs today. Thanks again satay and others it worked a treat. Their feathers are looking fantastic too I might add

Just wondering if earlobes that are turning white are a concern.... I have 2 that lay 2 eggs but the other 2 whose earlobes are turning white have only ever laid 3 eggs between then since they started... Should I be concerned or is this a weather thing also?

Aw, I was going to go and get people's opinions on a couple of my houdans but I missed the entry date and partner wanted to go to the auction in traralgon.
