Can I please see pictures of your eggs ( all quail, chicken and duck eggs ) in your King Suro? My quail eggs don't seem to fig Snug!

Hi everyone, I don't look for a week and you add 20 pages lol. I had a death last week, don't know why, but she appeared to have blood filling up her lungs, she was a strange one, 1 year old isa brown, but she never laid an egg and always fell asleep while in mid walk. Anyway I want to replace her, I was thinking an Orpington, anyone got any or know about them, also anyone with any chooks for sale in Latrobe Valley area can you pm me.
My little mans voice changed yesterday, he now sounds like a chook, still don't know if he is a little man (I hope not), no crowing yet, but I did notice he has 5 toes on one foot and 4 on the other, bloody freak lol. Here's his pic, or hers, what do you think? Boy or girl

Thanks, the lady I got it from said between 6 and 10 weeks, she couldn't remember, but I was going with 6, so that would make it 15 weeks old. I hope you're right

Gotta love the frizzles, they all look so awesome. I'm guessing female if over 5 months or so, male if under that. That said, I have silkie/Pekin crosses that are over six months and I'm still stumped. Either way, he's gorgeous.

oooh SHE is gorgeous!!! They should all be she's until proven other wise! I can't wait till my lil frizzles feather out, I hope they look half as cute as that, And your birds Appps are soooooo freakin cute.... I'm picking up some more next weekend I think
I just put 60 eggs into my incubators... I wish I could work out how to turn the darn songs off when they all turn though.... I have 5 rcoms going at present LOL I bet I won't be laughing by 4 am when they have woken me up every hour...

I don't have any pics of them in there Luke. When I do a run in the bator it is usually 60 eggs which will fill it. If you are only doing a few the last ones in one line may fall over. Thats' ok. Maybe pm Sydney quail man he may have some pics for you. Main thing to do is to adjust the rail so that it is snug up against the eggs,
