Are you kidding!!! I drop and egg EVERY bloody day hahahah.

I put 3 eggs in my pocket...they got squished.
I put my shirt like a bowl and put 16 eggs in it,, tripped and fell squishing them all into my face and chest

.
I have dropped countless eggs.
I have even had my hands pecked by hungry fowl and dropped them.

The chickens eat the shell and all so nothing really goes to waste

Forgot add hubby grew up in the country me in the city. While we were at this same dairy hubby tore the bottom of his toe off stacking the ag bike on a rock and had to have microsurgery to have it put back on and had a piece of wire go into the side of his eye and had to have that surgically removed so my bike stack was my only mishap besides a run in with an electric fence and 4 am in the rain so i think i did ok for a city girl.

Lucky his "City Chick " was around to call the ambo's

A sad night for me last night. Hubby went to lock the chooks up and came back to the door and said you need to come out here. He had my beautiful Chooka. She had passed away. He said she looked like she was a sleep and he bent down to pat her and realized she had passed. Chooka was my first chicken and I got her when I lived in the city still. At the time I only had 4 ducks. The neighbour behind us had bantams and was moving and could not take them. Hubby said no chooks until we find a place in the country. Well I could not bare the thought of her going to the pet store so I put her in with the ducks .She loved our drake Fuzzy and would sleep on his back at night, They hung out all day together. I think she thought she was a Muscovy. Fuzzy was killed by a dog 4 years ago and poor chooka was lost for months. I have had chooka 9 years but I know she was older as she was a full hen when the neighbour gave her to me. She now has a special spot in the garden beside her Fuzzy. RIP my dainty little girl. You will be missed.
