These are my black copper babies I love them so much. I want to sell them soon so I don't get more attached but my partner is seeing dollar signs and wants to grow them out to pol since the breeder we got them from sold a couple trios for something crazy huge like $600. I just <3 them

I've had the generator on since I woke up this morning. I lost quite a few quail, poor little dears, I don't know how long the power was out before I woke up They are saying 2am now for when it comes back on. Lucky the eco brooders don't draw much power...

Oh, that's terrible. I am so sorry for your loss Chook. Lucky you have that generator. You do seem to lose power a bit.

, can't figure them out. Had 2/10 half formed fetus 1 was almost fully formed but dead and the rest infertile, so all over the place really.

Luke, that's bad news on the quail.

. I don't know what you call a male , is it still a roo?
Anyway perhaps he's a " dud " or your male to female ratio is too high. I was thinking about putting some in one of coops. But mine all free range during the day, I'm guessing the quail would probably shoot through. A lady gave me some eggs, lovely little speckled things.
