We'll I can honestly say " don't " go near the JNL-48 on eBay. I've got 2 of the silly things, and neither of them work properly. A word of caution , unless you sell them from day old to week old, chances are you'll get stuck with some and there's a 50/50 chance they will be roosters. I have 6 lovely roos and 5 x too young to tell. Nobody wants roos. I have a sneaking suspicion that , like me , you are a bit of a softy and wouldn't dream of culling.
I could be wrong, but I'm usually a good judge of character.

I agree with jnl incubators never had one but know many that have and they all say they are rubbish.

Will try to upload some of them in a bit. As to roos i don't seems to have to many problems getting people to take my extras. The lady i bought my pekins from took All my roos from the rir. wellie hatch.

do you manage to sell your roos, Satay, or do you give them away? I have no problem giving them away.

Depends what is causing the sneezing and snot. did you hatch the chickens yourself? What are they being kept on? Sometimes pine shaving can cause them to sneeze alot.
For lice i would use pestine powder. You can get it from your local produce store or pet store. Dust them in it and clean out there cage get rid of all old bedding etc. You can use Ag lime in the run too or if you are talking scaley leg mites you cover the legs with either Vaseline or  vapour rub to smother them.

hi, is anybody around who sends eggs through the post? How do you put bubble wrap around the egg and then get them back in the carton. Mine wont fit. Also has anyone tried the posting in the 100mm pipe?

Any help is appreciated.. :D

Rexy, I wrap each egg in paper towel to stop them moving inside the egg carton. Then I place them in a shoe box with bubble wrap all round them . When you gently shake the carton , nothing should rattle. I then place the shoe box inside an express post bag.
