He'll learn.

Good stuff Lucas. Mine seem to often be a bit early but have a long rest between pip and zip.

Our little Corto boys (just sold) crowed quite clearly at 8 weeks. Almost as soon as the brothers were separated due to one being sold. He go as far as the lounge room when the brother in the tractor let out his first squawk! I was a bit shocked to hear it so early.
Yeah, it's been about 10 hours for my lot at the moment!!!

Appps! I found this post of yours from last year in another thread -

"Well I'm a bit concerned as I've discovered mine have something which I believe is lice (teeny thing crawled on my hand when I got the eggs this morning) and I have little bites itching and driving me crazy lately. I'm not talking about head lice, the bites are on my arms and torso.
We have no other pets and I thought fleas but have looked near carpet and there is nothing and I don't have them on my legs and from what I read that's where you first see flea bites.

Also curious if they are so host specific humans can't get from birds why do I keep reading the birds can get them from rodents? Wouldn't they be a too different host from a bird too?

Oh and pretty sure not bed bugs as have checked that too and hubby isn't covered in the bites. Just me and my daughter who is the other one that plays with the chooks."

You've just described my life for the past two months. I am covered in tiny red bites, all along my pubic line (sorry guys, TMI!) and under my arms, and yesterday I found a tiny mite crawling on my face. Now my kids are suffering, and my husband said he noticed he could feel things crawling on him today!
How did you get rid of them? Nude up in the garden and roll in DE?

Evening all, just wanted to ask a quick question. Do any of you post hatching eggs? I have had an inquiry and not sure if I should look into a courier or trust Australia post?

Yes I have sent to most states except w.a so far. I use Australia post. Looked into transport company recently to send some eggs to Sydney and they wanted $65 for two doz  We don't really get couriers much out here so never bothered to ask the price to do it that way. Would be interesting to know.

Posting with aust post is always a gamble. Sending express post is your best option unless it is within your own state. It's a little dearer than standard mail but worth it I think.

Try buying the pyrethrum head lice stuff from woollies lather it all over on everyone might help. Also wash everything in hot water and use eucalyptus oil in wash.
