They are awful things. I would not recommended the jn's at all. I would try a hovabator.

@my2wings you are going to be looking at more than $150 for a 48 egg, full auto bator.
I got the King suro 20, 24 egg bator. @satay and @Ashburnham also have this bator and they really like it. Cost me $385, I think?? I will have to check.

I have two Rcom incubators - a 20 and a 50 . They are literally set and forget.
Great hatching rates, few "problem" chicks.
Expensive of course, but you get what you pay for.

Pretty sure our Wellie laid her first egg today! Our Salmon Fav has been laying for a couple of days, think the Maran is yet to have a go. Have to try catch her in the act!
