Well it's a sad day here . Mr Snakey got two of our quails . We only have got one left now . Any suggestions on what to do now? We were sure the pen was snake proof. We have no idea how he got in.

Snakes can be very smart, and are apt at finding weakness.

Meet Julius, a (now passed away) 16ft python.

It's not a scam, there are longer video's but this one gets the picture across!

If the snake was still in the cage, I would guess it pushes it's way in at a weak point but could not push it's way back out. (like a flap of wire mesh or something)

Sorry about your quail Luke But yes I have a young blue cockerel who looks great at the moment... Fingers crossed he comes up nice. I will try to get some more eggs off the breeder I got them from but I don't know what my chances are. Opals line has been pure for over 30 years so I'm really lucky to be starting with such a good line. I have one blue girl and one black girl, I'm hoping to get a nice splash roo from the first season so I can get 100% blue with my black girl Onyx

Drive as far into the furtherest wilderness area from you as you can get & release the snake there! Or put it on a boat heading elsewhere!
