Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

AB my huhhy has been invited twice now to be an adviser on an Antarctic expedition. They use the buoyancy vest that he invented. They don't pay very well but he is seriously considering it. He's getting plenty of practice acclimatising , it's snowing all round the hills as I type.
Satay you'd hate all that pretty white stuff.

I have no idea on the subject.lol. But I think he should defiantly go for it. What an experience.
Make sure he gets a freeze proof camera to take pictures of all those wonderful Penguins

Being rather new at this blue chook game, I thought I would experiment. Some of my whites (splash) and blacks started to lay. I put them in with a blue Roo.

I put 16 eggs in the incubator, 1 was infertile. 14 hatched:-
5 I will call splash
7 blues (Some are rather dark on their backs but have blue underneath
2 black.

I will say that the colour ranges from white through blue to black with every variation imaginable. For some reason the photo will not upload, sorry folks.

I used to work with a bloke (who your hubby may very well have worked with too) who works down there. He seems to have a blast. He started out just helping out, but he's been going back for over a decade now.

I have a soft spot for blues, unfortunately we have not had the best of luck, they all hatch black, or if they are blue are male!

Good luck.

Yet another freezing morning. Current temp is 1.1c.... Thought i'd post some other totals from this morning for parts of qld that make me appreciate my 1.1c... Warwick (closer to the border) -4c, Burpengary (northside of brissy) 2c, Roma, 0.7c , Kingaroy -5C, Slackscreek south side of brIssy 3c. Can't see a posting for either Oakey or Stanthorpe this morning but they usually are the coldest places in S.E qld.

Hey Lucas, how's your yoko?

Wow, I completely forgot to tell you all.

Well the vets gave me basically the same stuff as what you suggested, with the main ingredient being that Oxytet stuff.
So he has to go on it for 5 days (on day 2 now) and then she gave me some probiotic mix to bring back up to full health after the Oxytet. It's 'supposed' to be more than just Yoghurt so I decided to get it.lol.
At the start he had discharge from nose, eyes and mouth and lots of sneezing. Now he is only got snot coming out of one nostril and sneezing. So a bit of an improvement.
