Time to go cross country skiing. I got a pair of skis last Christmas, but we had such a lousy winter that I only got to try them once. I'm hoping this year I could put them to better use. Have you gotten all the flood damage fixed already? It's snowing on the valley floor.
Hey sweetbeak, what is that in their food dish? Is it applesauce?
I'm always looking for new treats for my girls. Thanks in advance

Creamed corn? I've never thought of that, excellent! Thank you.hi, it's a little bowl of creamed corn, they love it, especially the babies. I also mix chick food crumbles in with it as well.
Hi everyone,
My flock of blue and black Australorps have been laying like troopers for the last 1.5 months. I can always rely on them to be good winter layers. Out of my flock of 12 (1 Roo, 1 retired hen, and 10 productive girls) I got 9 eggs today which I think is a great effort on their behalf. I thought I would grab a pic to share as I have been quiet here lately. I know pics of eggs aren't very exciting but i needed to post something
Now fingers crossed the pic works because I'm uploading from my iPhone..
