Lol, I remember my mother in law used to buy the lovely spruce trees in the pot and put them out on the verandah till the following year. Once they got too big she'd plant them out in the garden. One year they were bringing the tree in for Xmas and a king brown snake rolled out of the pot, that put an end to that tradition.

Omg I bet it would

Fancy, cute chick, and Tim, he's a nice looking boy, hopefully he'll make a nice meal. Here's a weather update: Same view as earlier: We cleaned out the run and did some roost modifications, so the chickens were driven out in the snow. They kept trying to find a dry spot though. Hopefully they'll like their new roosts, they got a bit of a swing too.
Nice pics Felix. I love pictures of snow but being the frog that I am not sure I could ever see it in person so I will be happy to look at any you post.

; I stress over half a dozen under a broody.

Satay congrats on finding somewhere for your bush babies and also on your pips and hatches.

hawkeye2 I was sooo stressed with my first broody hatch; still get a little stressed and excited with hatches. If that ever wears off, I will give up! As appps mentioned, she should be fine; just watch in case she is one of rare few that attack .. then sit back and enjoy! Good luck

TimOShea he is a nice looking boy; sorry to hear that his chickenality does not match.

vehve love the pics!

Not much news from here. Still keeping a close eye on everyone since losing Allsorts but his/her sibling Bear is doing well; getting some interesting patterns/colours. Everyone else seems healthy and no signs of illness.

Cilla is still broody!!
