It's legal here in NSW. We have the cutest little guy that we got because the breeder was moving to Qld so couldn't take them.

Aussie my big girl goes off laying in summer for no apparent reason.

She has just stopped. February she will start again has done this for three years.

It's like she says it's too fricken hot so blow sitting in a nest box!

Thank you Outpost. She's a fantastic hen, and so far being a great mumma for her first time.

My favourite pic is the last one. The little wheaten seems to love to bury its head in mummas feathers and sleep like that.

Ohh very excited for you Sam! I think it would be a bad idea if I bought an incubator. As it was today when I took my 7 week olds for their final vacc, my mate asked me if I had any more broodies - thank goodness I don't as I probably would have come home with more fertile eggs!
