Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Sad day in Australia today rip to the hostages that died Unfortunately it was never going to end well. My prayers are for the family and friends involved.

I'm glad the police managed to keep the death toll low. It would have been a lot worse except for the great work of our frontline protectors prayers for them and families too

I wouldn't worry just yet. Eggs can handle an amazing temperature range when being looked after by a broody. My broody went for a graze only once, but I think she forgot about the eggs & I didn't notice her out until I closed the door to the run and she had a major freak out. The eggs hatched just fine. I let my hens out for a graze this afternoon without the chicks and I'm pretty sure I heard a crow - twice. It was much deeper and not as gawky as I expected. I sat there for ages watching to see who the culprit was but he only made the offending noise again once I moved away from the run. I think it may have been my favourite, Rumpless. :hit Those look like male tail feathers to me. What do you guys think?
That's a young rooster .

this post is mainly to @satay (because you seem to know a bit about ducks) , but if anyone else can help me that woud be great! :)

a couple of weeks ago I hatched out a runner duckling and it seemed to be fine. after it hatched its feet kinda curled up a bit, I though this was normal. but its two weeks later and its feet are still the same and its feet point inwards. its still really wobbly on its feet and doesn't seem to want to stand to long.

heres a picture from when it was a couple of days old. its not the best but you get an idea of what im yappin about
