You guys are lucky. Moreton Bay is clinging on to cat registrations & the price is going up. They do however run a great program for desexing and chipping. It was $10 for each when I had it done.

Happy new year to all! Hope it's a good one! I am looking at baby chicks and deciding which go on my list for the year. Saturday I am picking up a 4 month old Black Copper French Maran. Can't wait!

That's a great price. Think I payed $50 to have thor micro chipped when I first got him.

@satay - there is no mistaking now with the chicks that hatched from your eggs; cute little pair. And holy dooly, the cockerel is such a man haha! He's still only about half the size of the pullet, but his comb is enormous for 3 weeks old.

Yes the boys usually give themselves away at that age

I'm thinking about keeping him to try and make some olive eggers

We'll see how he matures out

I have olive eggers, bcfm, and easter eggers that I plan on breeding him with this spring
