Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Wow, you guys have been busy ! I've been in Sydney , then Dubbo . Nice to be home and see the sky again. (Rained the entire time ).
@ChristieB hope that things are brighter on the horizon for you and your kids. :)
Re, feather damage and wormers, as far as I know fenbendazole (panacur ) is the only one you shouldn't use during molt.

Sam, 5 C is enough to get spring started properly... but I do like it slightly warmer, I must admit. ChristieB, sorry to hear that you got your skis crossed with the hubby. I hope you can figure things out and keep it civil for the kids sake. (For those of you not familiar with the operation of skis, it is very difficult to ski if your skis are crossed. It is a common saying around here.) It's really looking like spring is upon us, I can see loads of tiny, green new leaves coming out on bushes and trees, and it's supposed to be sunny all week so I think nature will explode into life within the next few days. At the moment it's 10C outside, and if you're in the sun you almost get sweaty. We finally took down the rest of the corrugated plastic from the run, and cleared out the straw and put in some fresh stuff. I think it's almost warm enough to start thinking of planting carrots. I really need it to warm up properly soon, I have about 40 tomato and chili pepper plants inside and they're starting to take up quite a lot of space.
brrrr -12 on the mountain and we have snow already !

It is so cold here! Already! The wind is particularly icy! I don't think I will be moving the babies out to the new brooder any time soon...might have to try move the brooder indoors! The shed is just too cold and drafty!
