And cocci strikes again. Had heaps of rain lately. Just got the new off ground chick pens sorted yesterday but was too late for an ara and a polish chick.and possibly an ara pullet and a fw maran cockerel. Im treating both with slim hopes for success. :-( i hate the wet...
Look at these little chickadees, enough to melt the coldest heart.

Grit for the chicks. Is there anything in chick starter or now I'm giving them a little grass time do I Need to add some? They aren't really able to get to the dirt just the grass blades and anything else they can get their beaks on sigh.
Hey Deej211 sorry to hear about your Cocci troubles.
appps, sorry, can’t answer the grit question, all my bubs have been raised by mumma in the run with lots of available dirt.
Meeka3 I will leaving the sexing of your little ones to the experts but will just add they sure are cute!
Wow Fancy, beautiful pictures! So adorable!
I have another question …. When my snow pea stragglers have been harvested I thought I would just drag the container out of the stealth vegie garden and let the girls pick away at the leaves .. it is OK for them to eat them?
Yes, mine have access to the vege patch , they go round the outside picking anything they can reach. They also love it when the pea straw sprouts.
