Well a nice little surprise yesterday. My mum was up for the day and we were looking at the turkeys sitting and i said i better go look under them as i can't rememeber when they are due. All three girls are sitting on a heap of eggs together. Lift up number one and only eggs, Lift up number 2 and 1 turkey baby, Lift up number 3 and 2 bantam chicks lol. I new they had some bantam eggs under them but i didn't think they would be fertile. I have taken the 2 bantie babies and have left them with just the turkey for now.

GREAT work that would be hilarious to see some banties under a turkey!!! hope you have fun with them!!

It was funny luke but you really can't see anything til you make the mummas move and they drop out from under their wings lol. After checking this morning we are up to two baby turkeys

so you have to have a good rummage round for those chicks

. Two baby's that's GREAT, good luck with them make sure they grow up nice and big and strong.

Hey Luke, I forgot you were in Coffs. I have some welsummer eggs coming from coffs next week
My quail eggs go into lockdown tommorrow. I will be super excited if any hatch after so many were broken in the box on arrival. I tried to candle them the other day but they are way to dark to see anything,

WHAT? ive been looking for welsummers down my way for a week and nothing?? who are you getting them of? i hope your quail eggs hatch, id also like to see some pics when they hatch.

Hope eveyone had a great weekend. We had 2 days in the 40's already and it's not summer yet. Nothing on the quail yet. Today is day 17. Last night one egg was rocking all over the place so i thought i may wake up to something today. Nothing this morning can't even see that egg rocking anymore. Guess i will just have to be patient and keep hoping that something will hatch.
