Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Yeah we do have snakes. Gosh she must have been hungry to coil on that hard. Lucky you got help as they can cut off the circulation in your hands. Glad you relocated it though :thumbsup Hubby relocated alot of scrub pythons last year. We have a brown tree snake that lives in the roof but goes out into the palm tree at night. It has been here for years before we got here so the last owner told us. Seen many a visitor scream when it hangs down for a look as they are going in or out the door lol.

Found it! Thanks to Fierlin1182 for suggesting this forum site. I'm a newbie here and I really don't have a clue where to go ..

Hi Satay, she is cochin bantam, altho not greatest lines. I don't mind as they are just pets. The other chicks you guys posted made her look like a dwarf! The EE sitting on one egg in same box steals her at any opportunity! I am constantly retrieving her & giving her back to her mum.
On another topic, you have the pet snake don't you Satay? I had a a 2metre scrub python come into my house the other night. I am used to the brown tree snakes coming in and they do not worry me as they will not eat my little dog but the scrubbies certainly will. They usually go and hang around the coop & I catch and relocate them. Anyway I caught her and she completely wrapped both my hands up completely! I was home alone so I am sitting there in snake manacles for about an hour. Finally managed to free one hand and ring my dad who came and untangled me & took her away to let go elsewhere! Even tried dialling phone with pen in my mouth! Funny now but very frustrating at the time!
oh.... my..... GOD! That is hilarious.

I have runners and muscoveys and 1 pair of khaki campbells. I did have a pair of welsh harlequins until the neighbours dog killed them earlier this year. My muscoveys are my favourites as they are the flrendliest of the ducks. My welshies were friendly too. I agree with you ash. Mine love snails and chilli's lol. We have a few chilli bushes around the place and i see them regularly helping themselves to some chilli's lol. Mind you our 10 month old pup helped him self to most of the mulberries of my mulberry bush this year.
Thought i'd post a couple of pics of our locals lol
Vic the tree frog that comes around in the evenings for moths. (hubby hand feeds him)

and big boy decided to come for a visit this morning. We call him big boy cause you hear him calling the girls at night. (sounds like a wild pig if you didn"t know better). He gets in the tree right outside the front door.
