Ahhhh OK, yep my least known area of Sydney - I think I've only ever been there when driving through from the south coast and one time when I went to the Crunulla ferry to do the Royal National Park walk (2 or 3 days I seem to remember and you get back on the train at Waterfall or somewhere like that?). Nice memoires!

Wow - where are you - western suburbs? I know it is hotter there than closer to the coast but 50 is insane!! Sleep well!

Don't know that area at all. When I lived in Sydney I was in Lindfield with mum then Burwood and Redfern.

Western Sydney, yes! We are waaaaayyyy up the coast at the moment and a friend is looking after our chickens

Ah yes. Know both well but have never actually done that walk, though I have camped @ Garie.

@PouleChick are you near Poitiers by any chance? I have cousins in Sommiers du Clain and Poitiers was their closest town, even though it was at least 30 minutes drive away.

Eek I have heard of it getting super hot out there but didn't realise it could get that hot!

lol We had to walk in to Garie in the wet. Everyone had nylon tents & flys. Water went straight through. Not us. Ex Girl Guide. Not only did we have a proper tent I know how to find dry wood. While everyone else was eating cold baked beans straight from the tin & trying to dry out we fried up onion, chicken & tomato. That night someone nicked all the dry wood we couldn't squeeze in the tent. lol Ah, well. WE were warm & dry!

Good, we have had bad hot days then storms in the afternoons
