Australians - Where are you all????

Yeah sounds about right. I think in VL they have to cut the rope holding their dad and he plummets to his death. Very nice. Haven't seen the trailer for Contagion (me and TV don't spend much time together, neither do me and cinemas - WAY too cold) Me and Google on the other hand are great buds and Wikipedia tells me that Contagion looks like it'd be good! In stark contrast however, I'll be curling up tonight watching The Jungle Book. Don't laugh, it's for work. Plus I haven't seen it in at least 20 years so I'm secretly a little bit ok with watching it.

Well yes, there was something about cutting ropes... but I think that was the evil guy they left down in that hole

Anyway, it was a long time ago, I don't remember much from when I was ten

I DO remember the Jungle Book. I watched it once, didn't find it very interesting. Other kids used to find me weird because I never liked Disney.

Oh, I think I watch way too much TV.

I don't have the best internet, so watching things online would wreak havoc on my poor computer

Yeah, I don't remember much about it other than the songs... "It's the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities, forget about your troubles and your strife" or somehing like that. I'm HOPING I can use it with a bunch of 8-9 year olds who are learning about habitats and adapting to an environment. I'm sure that kid woulda had to change to survive in the jungle. Anyway, we'll see.

So Ray, do you ever sleep? I mean, between hanging out here, watching too much TV and doing your IB when do you find the time for anything else?

I played that song back when I was learning the flute.

I quit flute though, and soon after that music as a subject.

It was never really my thing.

I used to get 10 hours per night, but that made me irritable and always tired... now I'm back to 7-8 hours which has done wonders

Oh, and means I can usually watch my favourite programs until 11:30PM while doing any homework I may still need to do. I multitask too much, so I always have free time

Haha music's not my subject either. I can recite the words but ask me to sing and you'll be sorry

Multitasking is where it's at. I'm attempting to do so now and to a degree I am, although the proportions are all wrong: 30% BYC, 30% FB, 20% Stuffing my face and making pots of tea, 10% Wandering around wondering what to do next, 5% absolutely nothing and/or random nothingness tasks and 5% work. SIGH.

I actually got a grade 8 in piano. I don't know how it went that far because I wasn't enjoying it

20% stuffing my face

If only I were doing that right now. Saturdays always seem to be the day when I don't get round to eating much. I just float around doing BYC, script writing and nothing important... time flies and I forget to eat
lol.png

I have, thankfully, no work that needs doing right now.

(Well, besides revising for physics, chem, maths and english, but they give us a week off normal lessons specially for that prupose later on

OK, I actually have a chicken question now that you might be able to help me with... Whenever I let Matilda free range she stuffs herself silly until her crop is enormous. Should I keep her locked up away from the delectable delights of the garden??

Her and I are a match made in heaven. We love to eat....

Must admit I don't know! Would think might tone down if got more time free ranging? Might not. If concerned why don't u limit her time just a little. Assume u worm them?

Don't u like Buffy n Sexy for names? I do

They're Australorp crosses... And I haven't wormed them yet but thanks for reminding me. Was it you talking about apple cider vinegar in their water and was that for worms? Do I just get that from the supermarket? I've been so worried about getting her antibiotics and anti-inflammatories into her I forgot about worming...
