Australians - Where are you all????

Sounds like you're going to have a lot to do!

Ah I always reckoned a broody for incubating would be better as the hen could do all the turning herself

(And I think you're missing #4 as well

Do you live somewhere where the post office has more than one line? If so, you'll probably miss the call as your phone will be engaged when they call with the news

You mean from me calling them?
We live in a smallish town. Small enough for the post office lady to know everybody's name. So I'll call her when the eggs get sent telling her to call when she gets them. And I think she will, she's a really nice lady. She takes her cat in with her everyday to keep her company.

Sounds like a great place! The city's enormous that way. We know maybe three shop owners by name out of the hundreds there are.

Cats are nice. I sometimes get a rash from them, it's like an on-off allergy, quite weird.

Hi,
I'm new at this. Not very good with computers either. Don't understand the language most of the time but I'll try. I'm too old to learn new tricks maybe. Anyway, I live in Victoria, Australia. About 2 hours drive east of Melbourne. I breed and show Standard White Silkies, Standard White Polish, Australian Langshans (Bantams) and my favourites Bantam Columbian Wyandottes. The Wyandottes are a challenge thats for sure but worth it I think. I am travelling to the States next year and would like to go to some poultry shows in September or October 2012. Where do I get some information about whats on, where and dates. Any assistance greatly appreciated. My husband and I have been over 8 times so far and absolutely love USA. We have some very good friends in Minnesota and Ohio we visit each time we go.
Cheers

Chainsaw,
You won't find anything in the link ray posted(sorry ray

But maybe if you ask duckyfromoz she could tell you. She seems to be very up to date with all the shows. Good luck.

Ractay, I definitely DID NOT watch the rugby.

I can't stand sports that involve thugs and a ball. But if someone else is watching it then I sit down and watch them. It can be hilarious watching people get really into the game
