Australorp attacked chick

Went to the bird vet. He cleaned the injury and gave me topical antibiotics. She's very active and eating, so I'm saying positive.

Astralorp outside of chicken yard on other side of fence. Keeping her there for now and she'll sleep alone in she'd until I figure out what to do. Basically chicks and Astralorp can't be in same coop anymore.
 
I agree. My Australorps are too beaten on the bother the other birds. (luckily) I'm so happy that your chick is doing better!!

Just wanted to report in that the chick is doing very well. She still has no skin on the top of her head, but her general health is very good and the vet said she was on track in terms of progress. Will be at least another two weeks that she needs to stay away from the others through. Fortunately, she's a real sweetheart and easy to care for in the house.
