Australorp Contest! CLOSED

Here is my 2nd entry:

Name: "The Ladies"
Gender: Pullets
Hatchery Birds
Category: chicks
Color: black
Quick Story: All of our Australorps are 6 weeks old and so alike in appearance that we can hardly tell them apart. Two have names (the rooster and one pullet) and we simply refer to the others as "The Ladies." Here they are just hanging out together. Can't you just picture them gossiping?

Look at the size of that one! My husband was impressed when I showed him this picture! Ours are only 6 weeks old and are "his" babies.

I should have my friend Lisa hold that one and show how big he really is. I tried to get one of my kids to, and they won't touch him though he's the most gentle thing. I'm just shy of 6'0, and yes, He is huge.

Well, the big Australorp in the photo sure excited my husband. He is hoping his will also get at least fairly large. Ours are still babies, though they are growing fast and have a lot of feathers growing in now.

I can't get my husband to join the BYC forum, but he enjoys looking at all the pictures and posts that I show him from others. Maybe he will give in and join one day soon.
