He is an attractive young bird.

No problem, there was an excellent book wwritten about this breed last year, its pretty hard to get but I understand it has been reprinted in paperback now cause it sold out every printing ..Interesting book and you not only see champions today in Australia but just how far behind we got with it..He takes you on the journey of determined breeders and they had a vision in thier mind about how they wanted the birds to look and they went for it...its still a work in progress for them also they keep adding buff orp in then breed back out then add clean legged langshans then back out ,,,but there really is another side to the story..the people who want the record egg layers and they found themselves looking toward us as a possible source, they are having trouble finding a closed flock in australia..again no one here is watching thier flocks we did have one hen that laid 302 eggs in one year..but sadly she got eaten by a fox...she sure wasnt anything special to look at.but was australorps.
She was dependable as can be every moring between 9 and 10 she was in that box..

My oldest babies are going on 2 months old now, so hopefully in about 4 months they will will start laying. I should get 50% Lav Aussies. I'll be sure and post pics.

Sorry to hear about your's not hatching. I had several Speckled Sussex and someone unplugged my bator and I only got one to hatch. It just made me sick.
