This dude/dudette is about 12 weeks old - The comb isn't red, though the face is starting to redden. I ws thinking pullet for awhile because of the smaller non-colored comb, but the tail feathers coming in concern me. What do you tihnk? Roo?

I'm going with pullet. The tail is odd, but the remainder of the feathers are girlish. My Australorp roos had abundant red combs and wattles by that age.

I can't see your pictures, but here are pics of mine, from last year, all roos...

About the tail feathers: My BA pullet grew 1 or 2 HUGE tail feathers also. I thought she was a roo but only because of the tail feathers. One day, my SLW roo decided he wanted to peck them off so he did and she looks like a pretty little girl

I am also going with pullet. My BA girls just turned 14 weeks this past week and they have pretty long tail feathers also. Your girl looks just like my girls, so I do believe you have a beautiful girl there.

I will say pullet also. I base that by how my BAs look at 9 weeks. The ones that are probably roosters have very large and red combs.

my moneys on pullet, but one question... are her legs solid black?... looks it in the one pic, but it is kinda hard to tell...she actually looks just like our Jersey Giant, Aretha, when she was that age, even the tail feathers...
