Australorp PALE yolks and few eggs

Yes it’s quite humid also. I sometimes give hem ice in their drinking water, but they have zero idea when I give them frozen fruit or ice cubes. They don’t seem to want to go near it! I have to admit, these two are not the smartest chickens I’ve ever owned lol! Adorable.. but not smart!

Update: still not laying, added electrolytes to be water. Betty is very placid and seems to only want to sit underneath the deck. This morning I found a HUGE poo - it looked like a broody poo but she isn’t brooding in the nest box or trying to steal Veronica’s eggs. Is it possible that she’s broody but just doesn’t really get how to be broody yet?

It's possible she's going broody, does she have any other "actions" of a broody? Growling, flattening out like a pancake. Has she made a "nest" under the deck?
They won't always utilize a nesting box, they can brood just dirt LOL

Since she's not been laying long, I would check her out a little more closely just in case.
Check her crop first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks, it should be empty.
It would be a good idea to feel her abdomen for bloat/swelling or fluid.

If I can catch her lol! I’ll try and check her when I can get my hands on her! No no growling or flattening - yet she won’t squat for me either! She not the smartest.. she has one white toenail that she has repeatedly pecked time and time again thinking it’s a big *face palm*!
She hasn’t made a nest per se, but i do see her sitting in her dust bath hole sometimes.. I’m really lost at what’s going on with her ‍♀️ I did catch her he other day and she didn’t seem to have any swelling in the abdomen at all. She’s always been tiny for a Australorp but she felt quite thin, but her feathers look a hell of a a lot better than when I got her, so she doesn’t look ill at all. She looks very healthy but just in an odd mood. She’s still eating and drinking but not with as much enthusiasm as before

It may just be the heat and she's found a cool spot in the dirt:)
But if you can catch her up and check her out it would be good.

She sounds like fun!

Managed to catch her and have a good feel around. Crop is fine, she’s very skinny though and her comb is looking a bit dull and pale compared to when she had started laying... the had a very small ulcer/sore on the outside of her vent but nothing seemed swollen and to be honest it might just be a peck Mark from the other chicken... I’m at a loss except for the heat. I think I will worm her too, just have to get some good wormer. Any recommendations?? I want her to be well and start laying again too she doesn’t seem out of sorts since I gave her the electrolytes. I’m confused and I just want her to be 100% because I worry about them so much because I adore them!

I would keep an eye on the sore/ulcer on the outside of the vent. With your warm temperatures any type of wound can turn into FlyStrike quickly. This is where flies will lay eggs on a wound, dirty vent, etc. Maggots can hatch out in as little as 24hrs in your heat, they begin to "feed" on the wound. This can be deadly to a chicken if not caught quickly.
Not trying to scare you, just inspect her frequently. There are always several "cases" of FlyStrike each year here on BYC.
You may want to put a little triple antibiotic ointment on the sore.

I believe Flubenvet or Levamisole may be available to you for deworming, ask your feed store what they have. I'm not sure if you have to have a script in AU or not.
