Awesome choice, your girls are beautiful!
Do they have names?
Not yet, but they are starting to get nicknames, which might end up being permanent if we don't name them soon! (And won't make any sense when they get adult feathers, as the nicknames are based on their baby fuzz appearance, lol!)
I won't name mine until there is at least 85- 90% chance of them being hens! My husband and I drove from Cincinnati, OH to RattlesnakeRidge (ByGod) WV, and
got 18 chicks and a Rooster from Kurt. It was worth the trip. Kurt has great birds.
He is so knowledgeable about this breed, and so helpful. Plus he is a super nice guy,
and great to do business with. And if that is not enough, it was a beautiful drive,
and we had such a great time.
And that is exactly what has happened! We've got Goldie (for her gold/yellow color), Cheeks (for the white spots on her cheeks) and Tipper (for her white-tipped flight feathers).![]()

I'm crossing my fingers that the hatchery that supplies the feed store chicks lives up to its 90% sexing success rate, and all three of mine are hens!![]()
