Fairly newbie here myself so I'm only hazarding a guess (mine are 8.5 weeks, LOL).....both pullets. But I most definitely defer to the more experienced people on this thread. Here's my suspected cockerel at 7-8 weeks:

Thanks for the pic it's nice to compare to another since I'm new. The combs on mine don't come close to the size or color of your suspected cockerel. Mine don't have any indication of wattles yet either. Fingers crossed.

Yeah....I figured ;-) I actually ordered one cockeral and I think I only got one! Ordered 25 pullets, 1 cockerel (plus 1 free dark brahma cockerel). 1 chick died from umbilical hernia but all the rest are looking good and very pullet-y. Although there *is* a significant size difference between the pullets! The larger ones are standoffish and rather greedy....the smaller ones are sweeter (although I've named one Ginger because she's the smallest and always trying to escape,lol).

That has definitely been an advantage of have 26 Australorp chicks all at once, lol. Easy to compare them to each other...my fingers are crossed for you too!
