Thanks1 I love them too. I got two girls last year and DH loved them so much he wanted to get a roo this year and some more girls to breed. I am not going to say no to more chickens. I ended up with 6 boys and 2 girls

This boy was the best looking one overall so far. I have two younger ones that it is too early to tell yet.

Hey Hillybilly!
Looks like we have common interests, I saw you BRs pics posted around the same time I posted ours, now here you are with Aussies. I love them, Hope our boy grows up as nice as yours. Looks like he might be a month or so younger. He is from the Superior Farms line. I don't know whose line that was. Strange name too, your's is Black Jack, ours is Black Bart!! Did you mean as in the pirate, the whiskey, or the card game???? ...........stan

Hi Tigercreek

That is so funny about the names. I just thought that Jack sounded good with Black but since I like whiskey we will say it's for that

Trying to come up with names for the two girls now.
He came from Rebel Roosters stock and is 19 weeks old here.
Your boy looks good too. How old is he?

He just hit 16 weeks. I have 2 pullets from the same hatch, and another 2 pullets from a breeder in North Carolina that are just 6 weeks. Hope to have chicks all over the place come springtime between the Aussies and the rocks! Good luck with naming the girls, mine is Rose (from Texas) and that's all I got. Working the Texas angle, Aggie maybe? Haven't started to think about my North Carolina grils, Hillbilly stuff might work?? Daisy and May??!!
