Former breeder stopping in to say hello. Been chicken-less for almost three years and it's time to change that. Until I get some more Aussie's, I'll just oggle over ya'lls pictures! Beautiful white and blues!

Are there Australorp heritage breeders in Texas .. for you to get your chicken fix from ?

About a ten hour drive from here. A lot closer than Florida though!

No heritage breeders near me that I know of. Not anymore. Although my Fiance says otherwise, I'm willing to travel a few hours to get good birds again. When the time comes. What he doesn't know wont hurt him.

Thanks - The chickens I had were all bloodlines that have been in the family for six or seven generations. So, no idea where they originated from.

However, I do know where a few of my birds have gone off to after selling out. Patience is a virtue I don't have at the moment. Haha. - Need to get rid of a curious Coyote before I invest again. She's been hunting in the back pasture for the last two years but, it's time she goes on with her pretty self. Can't have her eating my chickens.

Heres my little Baby ..

Well TT & tweetT are out with the flock now ..in a dog cage ..He is feathered out & is bigger & has Momma to keep him warm out there .
I rescued some comets from TSC ...they were going to die there . they were being pecked by the rest of the bin ..they had blood spots on them .
They had no idea what to do ..
