Yes, molting age. You should be seeing more feathers than usual around the place and maybe a reduction in egg laying.Don't sweat it, they are molting!!!

The first molt after getting chickens often is a surprise. It is all perfectly normal though.Phew! Thanks for the responses! egg laying is down...and I have found feathers around. Good deal--I can't wait to see how beautiful they are when their new feathers come in. I'll be sure to post pics!![]()
