Australorps breed Thread

I live in Vermont, are there any good BA lines being bred in New England? or New York? I don't have any of these birds, but am very interested in getting a few sometime. I am a beginner, but have seen so much bad stuff about hatchery birds that I would like to NOT start there! All the breeds I am considering I am trying not to go for hatchery birds, unless someone has recently gotten some good ones somewhere.
I won't be showing, but would like good quality birds. Thank you to anyone who can help. This breed seems hard to find so far....

You might try to P.M. Aveca. She is in Waverly NY. She is trying to raise show quality birds but might know of someone close. She seems to be pretty active although I have not seen her on this thread in a while. Other than that, check the breeder page then Craig's list.
