Doesn't really look like a roo to me, not compared to your other one, if they're the same age. But as you said, time will tell

I've only ever raised two lots of chicks before, (more on the way now

) but in both instances, by the age of 2 months, all the roo's had distinct red combs. Even in the difficult to sex breeds (Aussie Araucana) even though his comb wasn't that big at 2 months, it was very red compared to the other chicks.
This little guy was 7 weeks old in this pic.

They are not the same age the Older Roo looking one is 4 months ..1 egg hatched
the 2 other white ones are only about 2 months ..I would love if they were hens ...
Marker makes a Roo sound when I pick him up ....
