An hour? And that is a problem? Assuming, of course, that you have access to a car.

For several years I drove 400 miles round trip (after work) once a week to a specialist in Mass. Get to work at 5 AM, leave at 1:30, get to the doctor at 5:00 PM, there an hour, turn around and get home at 9:30 PM.

An hour seems like a Sunday drive.

I'd be pretty psyched to only have to drive an hour to get breeder BAs. As it is, I am going to have to have some hatching eggs shipped to me from 2000 miles away!

Duane Urch and matt1616 both show Aussies and sell eggs. Don't personally know the quality, but both have very solid reputations. I know Matt was posting in other threads and is a BYC member, and you can easily find Urch with a search. ....... .......stan

This is very hard for me to post this, First I lost my awesome cattle dog "KD" (Kurts Dog) in the beginning of this year. Now "DUNDEE" has finally passed away after coming back from being bitten by a timber rattler in early fall, but has never been quite right! I do have one of his sons " MICK" who I will continue to breed with my Duane Urch line hens. I have been looking into a second flock of BA's with a different line, time will tell. Enough with the sad stuff, lets talk BA's, my favorite and awesome breed.
