I went to my first poultry show ever as an observer this past year. It was quite an eye-opener. I met some incredibly nice people (and a few neurotic ones) and saw for the first time just how gorgeous these birds can become. And my husband was hugely relieved when I told him "no geese" after hearing first-hand just how loud they can get. (Muscovy still aren't off the list though.

)
