Australorps breed Thread

Oh. You're hilarious. Are you sure you aren't a poultry enthusiasts AND a comedian?

By the bye, I haven't seen Turk around lately. Wonder what ever became of him?

I just like to have fun... Turk and company should be pulling in here any time now. You should come over to my thread once in a while and you'd know a bit more about what's going on!

EDIT: I do know he's been working himself to death over the last 2 months but he has threatened to show back up. He goes nowhere without his new laptop so I'll try to have him say hello to you over the weekend.

I busted his chops for the damage he did to my thread and he was miffed about that but he needs to get over that.

I think the thread is strong as ever now and will continue to grow because the good core of folks have returned and several others great people have joined our ranks.

OH. I wasn't aware of that, although now that I think about it it did seem to get a lot smaller at one point when I was reading it.

Yep...he called a few minutes ago...The roads are bad here and some 'no-driving' folks come to this area to ski (Snowshoe and other resorts)...They cause so much trouble on the roads. They should be here in about half an hour.

"The most popular color of the breed is black, which is the only color recognized in the United States of America, but blue and white are also recognized in its home country and the Poultry Club South Africa recognizes buff, splash, wheaten laced and golden in addition."

From http://www.valleyhatchery.com/store/p3/Black_Australorp.html

Despite the huge issues I have with the picture of that rooster............ Can anyone confirm or deny that there are "wheaten laced" and "golden" Australorps in South Africa?? I scoured the Web but can find no verification.

NO! It means they DO believe in driving but they have NO business on the roads because they are dangerous. They come here with front wheel drive and no studs.

They are good for the economy in some cases...if they don't crash and kill someone else or themselves, they are in a ditch or snow bank and have to wait for a tow truck to get them out...then they are back in the ditch, 5 or 6 miles up the road...That's the definition of a no-driving idiot!!!!!

We call this influx of skiers 'Nose Pickers' among others that I can't mention here...lol

I quoted the wrong post............
