Australorps breed Thread

This is weird... But does anyone else's Australorp have webbed toes??? Or have any of you heard of chickens having webbed toes? My hen's toes are seriously 50% webbed... Maybe she's part duck? Lol

Sryglet,
Part duck, that is pretty good. LMAO I would really like to see a pic of your hens foot. Is your bird supposed to be an Australorp? How old is your hen or pullet? You never know what will come up on this thread!

Yep she's supposed to be a black Australorp. She looks pretty spot on. She did look a little off as a chick (we named her "hawkeye" because she looked like a baby hawk). And she's about 3 months old!
She is suuuuper fast and doesn't care for being held, but I'll try to get a pic!

Please do. That would be interesting to see.

I have had my hens for two years now and they have not gone Brody yet? How often do they go broody ? I have a friends rooster visiting and just kind of hoping I can get chicks from him with my girl without me doing any of the work.;)

My hen went broody the spring she turned one. I have heard that Australorps don't go broody that often. But silkies and cochins do.
