Automatic rotator question!!!!

I am sorry to bother ya'll with this question but what do you call that little piece that connects the motor to the rod that holds the egg racks?

My GFQ egg rotator piece broke. I can't find it for sale, but might have more luck if I knew what to call it.

Pine is too soft for that application.. maple or hickory would also work..

did you try super glue?? I could not because I did not have both pieces..

now that I re-read your note, I am thinking it is the part connected to the motor also.. You might have to take the motor apart to replace that part.. maybe somebody has a burned out motor that you could salvage the part from..

it might be called a cam drive??

I would try super glue but I think it(the shaft?) might have been inadverantly thrown out in the crazy holliday clean up.

I will keep looking though... I will also check at our local feed store Monday. Here is a pic if it helps, of were it would go.
