Automatic rotator question!!!!

I am sorry to bother ya'll with this question but what do you call that little piece that connects the motor to the rod that holds the egg racks?

My GFQ egg rotator piece broke. I can't find it for sale, but might have more luck if I knew what to call it.

Its just an egg turner as far as i know.

If you are talking about the rod coming out of the back of the motor. That would be the motor shaft.

I think hes talking about the cam. The part that is on the end of the motor shaft an moves the connecting rod. Looks sorta like a "Z" from the side.

The only parts GQF sells are the bar and the motor -- my guess is the piece that connects the motor to the bar would come built into the motor.

now that I re-read your note, I am thinking it is the part connected to the motor also.. You might have to take the motor apart to replace that part.. maybe somebody has a burned out motor that you could salvage the part from..

it might be called a cam drive??

I would try super glue but I think it(the shaft?) might have been inadverantly thrown out in the crazy holliday clean up.

I will keep looking though... I will also check at our local feed store Monday. Here is a pic if it helps, of were it would go.
