Hello, I'm new to raising chickens and need help. I am putting an automatic watering system in the coop using watering nipples and pvc. At what height should it be for adult RIR"s? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Quote:Ideally, if you're using a tray system, it should be the height of the back of the average chicken. About 10" (You can see my set up on my coop page here )

I would assume a nipple system would be the same, about 10" off of the ground.

    Good luck!
