I crossed a Blue Wheaten ameraucana with production reds. The blue wheaten males are distinguishable from the pullets at a pretty early age, and my chicks are growing in white and brown wing feathers, like their dad had. Granted, they're less than a week old, but will the autosexing continue into this mixed generation, or will I get multicolored chickens and have to eyeball sex at a later time?
