Actually, she only passed three placentas so far. I've read sometimes they'll pass them at the end?
@aynesidea any thoughts?
Mine delivered at the same time as pup 99% of the time, not waited til the end. Each pup, placenta and sac should be passed relatively close together. The green color often is due to a ruptured sac/placenta. Was she on C and E?

Seven now! 4 boys 3 girls.

This last pup was stuck, she strained hard for about 45 minutes.
I finally took her downstairs and outside to see if that would help, she peed and then was straining like she was pooping. Two back legs popped out, but he was all twisted up. I grabbed and gently pulled, and he came out. He looked awful but he came to pretty quick and seems good now.

I don't know if there's any more or not.
Hold the pup up to your ear and listen for any gurgling. Let me know if you hear anything. Sometimes there is still fluid left. Also, check the other small male.

Are you sure she didn't eat them as the puppies came out?

Um... Avery just delivered this and was trying to eat it. I thought it was a placenta but it's hard, I think it's maybe a dead puppy? From I guess a few weeks ago? It sure looks and feels like a puppy. Is this a serious problem? At least it looks like the placenta came out with it.

can happen, but not often. Does it have rear legs? Looks like more than just a week.

Yeah I'm not sure why she didn't deliver them with the puppies. She did deliver three but yeah, not the other four.

She wasn't. I asked the vet about it when I went for her ultrasound, and he said he usually recommends avoiding supplements during pregnancy if the puppy food is good quality. I showed him the food I was using and he said it looked great. She even ate a bowl of food just now.

Ok, I'll go try that. 👍

Positive. I was there the whole time and was watching. She tried to eat the one I posted a pic of but spit it back out. I don't think she would have eaten any of them unless I told her to. She didn't seem impressed, lol.

Yes, it does. It looks like it was decomposing quite a bit. Yeah, it looked like it was at least four or five weeks along to me.
