Avian Influenza - time to show symptoms?

how long is it from the time symptoms show to death? Ive had a Roo thats been sneezing for almost 3 months

I had a group of 20+ quail contract Avian flu. They showed absolutely zero symptoms, one day my missus found 10 dead, 2 hours later 5 more were dead. Ended up all dying except for 1. Contacted a poultry vet and she had to report my birds and all 100-200 were culled. Weirdly the vet said technically the cause of death is not certain but they were positive. Seems more deaths come from the culling than the flu, I could be wrong.
