BOOOOOOOOOO!!! I was hoping and praying for all pullets this year and until a 2 days ago things looked good...and then....

I see a comb and red wattles....

compared to my other partridge banty Clover, both are 4 weeks

and then I have my polish, sigh.

Popeye the Sailor chick is looking pretty girly to me with the crest feathers growing in towards her back

but my little sweet Willow, always getting picked on, is suddenly sporting crest feathers that point striaght up...

Somebody tell me it aint so!

He looks like a handsome little roo to me, too. Don't know a darned thing about Polish, but they sure are cute!

BTW, it's wattles, not waddles.

I remember it because ducks waddle, chickens have wattles.

But I don't know anything about Polish.
