Too funny. I think you were talking to me. I did really want a drake or two but you were coming off as a weirdo to me.If anyone should be suspicious of everyone it's me. I am a wierdo magnet usually.
I recently had a run in with my first craigslist wierdo. I had been lucky up to this point i have met some truley interesting and nice people over the years while selling ducks.
This one called me.
I specifically type on my craigslist ads text only. So that was my 1st clue I should not have called them back.
This guy got me on the phone and wanted to tell me his entire life story.
Maybe it was just an elderly guy that was lonely idk. But he kept on telling me what a nice guy he is And how I could just call the Dollar General or the Casey's general store in his town and ask for so-and-so and they would all tell me what a great guy he was...
Now if you're asking me, if you have to make a point to say what a great person you are you're probably not such a great person.
Anyway he wanted some drakes but but I couldn't get him to decide when he wanted to get them. I practically had to hang up on him.
He called back a couple days later and then he wanted to only come get one duck and wanted it for less money. I told him no on less money. He said that was ok.
I told him I was busy and I would let him know in a couple hours when he could come get it.
So I did that. He never showed or called and I finally had to leave so I messaged him and said Hey something came up you'll have to make it another day. Hours later I got a thumbs up.
Like an entire week goes by maybe more and I get a random text from this person who I do not know who is with nothing but a
I'm like who is this?
I got like this for ever long text saying how it was the guy that talked to you about getting the Drake But then you had to leave and I was at peace with that because that happens to me all the time something comes up blah blah blah blah on and on I don't even remember what else.
It just told the guy well you took forever to get back to me and we are processing them this weekend.
Never heard another word. Lol.
I am done with CL for the year.
I went back and forth in my mind if it would be a safe encounter but I guess you decided to blow me off about time I decided to chance it.
We can try again next spring.
