Ayam Cemani rooster pet quality so far but getting better

For $400/chick the damn things outta be perfect.
Really? So if I buy a puppy for say $400 that came from champion parents and it’s not perfect would I sue the dog breeder? No I wouldn’t because not every animal from perfect parents will be perfect. Genetics play a huge role in the makeup of an animal.

You can just sue someone because you feel like it.
It doesn't work that way.

They clearly state this:

GreenFire Farms has a reputation as selling some of the rarest breeds of chickens. They wouldn’t jeopardize that by selling mixed breeds.

I don't think they would either, at least not on purpose.
But by an Hen getting out and being fertilized by the wrong kind of Cock or vise versa, maybe. Or maybe a new employee put the wrong kind in the order.
I'm sure they stand by their product and if op was to send pics where they were sent the wrong bird or just a very inferior one, GF would probably make it right.

This bird is not inferior.

I don’t think that they would make a mistake by getting the hens mixed with the wrong cock. They did state that not all of the chicks will be show quality.

Definitely not inferior. Bred to the right hen it will produce offspring that can be bred up to a higher quality. So hatchery stock is inferior now?
I give up. Ops bird doesn't look anything like an AC except it's got black feathers. if gfs breeding stock started out as real ACs, they have been breeding down instead of up towards the standard of perfection. GF isn't suppose to have "Hatchery Grade" birds, according to their website. That is until you read the fine print where there are practically no guarantees.
